I need a short 5 minute play of 6 charactersReplyRichard Stuart Dixon says:atI have a website (www.goodschoolplays.com) that features thirty-eight scripts I wrote, directed, and produced while teaching drama in a Canadian secondary school. The scripts feature large casts and vary in style and content, but share an architecture in which roles are evenly apportioned. Most offer gender-flexible casting, and all are reasonably solid training plays that can help young actors become more proficient in their craft. All can be performed in under an hour. There are no royalties for the use of the scripts by teachers and students. I request only that you notify me about your interest in a script, so that I can give you formal permission to produce it.ReplyJustin Cash says:atThanks for sharing, Richard! Your plays look awesome and I am sure they will prove valuable to readers of The Drama Teacher. I have added your website to the list in this post.ReplySamsam says:atI need help finding a play scrip for year 6 children (a group of 14- students). 10 boys and 4 girls. This is the first I am doing this. Thanks in advanceReplyB says:atCan i ask ur help for making me a script for 10 minutes play and about 10-14 characters?
The Basic Rules runs from levels 1 to 20 and covers the cleric, fighter, rogue, and wizard, presenting what we view as the essential subclass for each. It also provides the dwarf, elf, halfling, and human as race options; in addition, the rules contain 120 spells, 5 backgrounds, and character sheets. But the best part? The Basic Rules is a free PDF. Anyone can download it from our website. We want to put D&D in as many hands as possible, and a free, digital file is the best way to do that.
Downloading Skits: To open these documents on your computer, you need a PDF Reader program, such as Adobe Reader (a safe, free program). You can download it by clicking the button to the right.
I have downloaded 3 of the plays you have shown on this site and am excited to introduce them to our church kids so that they can have a part in deciding which one(s) to present this year. Do I need to obtain special permission in order to live stream or videotape any of these programs? Thank you.
This page features 22 of my favorite short stories with questions. These reading activities are perfect for classroom use. Written by some of the greatest authors in history, these stories are short enough to cover in a single class period, and rich enough to warrant study. I tried to select stories that students would find highly interesting. I chose stories with ironic endings, interesting twists, and clever plot movements. This collection will nurture your students' love of reading and storytelling. I also prepared ten multiple-choice and long response questions for each text. These questions cover a range of reading skills from comprehension and inferring to interpreting themes and identifying figurative language techniques.
These reading activities are available in both the old-school paper format (.RTF and .PDF) and the updated Ereading Worksheet format. With the print-out versions, I optimized to reduce paper use. Most of these fit onto 4 sides. With the new Ereading Worksheets (online versions), I was not limited by paper sides, and was able to ask follow-up short response questions to each multiple-choice. I recommend that you use these if you have the tech at your disposal. They can be completed on any Internet connected device. Students receive instant feedback, and they can print, save, or email score sheets. They can also share their results on Facebook. These activities are easy to integrate with Google Classroom. Definitions of challenging vocabulary words can be found with one click. And perhaps most importantly, these activities are more accessible to students with disabilities. Without further introduction, I present 22 of my favorite short stories with questions, available as worksheets and online activities.
Item 6. Game Socks and/or Leg Coverings. Game socks and/or leg coverings must cover the entire area from the shoe to the bottom of the pants, and must meet the pants below the knee. Players are permitted to wear as many layers of game socks and/or leg coverings and tape on the lower leg as they prefer, provided the exterior is either a: (a) one-piece game socks and/or leg covering that includes solid white from the top of the shoe to the mid-point of the lower leg, and approved team color or colors (non-white) from that point to the top of the game socks and/or leg covering; or (b) solid color game sock and/or leg covering (i.e., entire covering from bottom of pant leg to top of shoe), but all players must be in the same covering style and color in any particular game. Solid game socks and/or leg coverings must be a consistent color from the bottom of the pant leg to the top of the shoe. Uniform game socks and/or leg coverings may not be altered (e.g., over-stretched, cut at the toes, or sewn short) in order to bring the line between solid white and team colors lower or higher than the mid-point of the lower leg. Skin exposure of the lower leg and ankle area due to improper wear of game socks and/or leg coverings is prohibited at all times throughout the game. No other game socks and/or leg coverings, and/or opaque tape may be worn over the one-piece, two-color uniform game socks. Barefoot punters and placekickers may omit the game sock and/or leg covering of the kicking foot in preparation for and during kicking plays.
Most of the time, books download as MP3 files (or sometimes WMA or AAC files) that can play on your computer, tablet, phone, iPod, or MP3 player. There are free audio converter software programs you can use if you need the audiobook to be in a different file format.
There are lots of other websites that offer free audiobooks that you can download through torrent websites. However, you should know that while that method of sharing books (or anything, like music and movies) may seem completely fine, it's normally illegal in most countries and is typically considered an unsafe method for sharing files since it's a common way to transmit malware.
After a brief sojourn in Sicily, during which the planned marriage with his cousin was finally called off, he returned to Rome, where he became friends with a group of writer-journalists including Ugo Fleres, Tomaso Gnoli, Giustino Ferri and Luigi Capuana. Capuana encouraged Pirandello to dedicate himself to narrative writing. In 1893 he wrote his first important work, Marta Ajala, which was published in 1901 as l'Esclusa. In 1894 he published his first collection of short stories, Amori senza Amore. He also married in 1894, choosing (on his father's suggestion) a shy, withdrawn girl of a good family of Agrigentine origin educated by the nuns of San Vincenzo: Maria Antonietta Portulano.
In 1905 he took his wife to stay in Chianciano Terme together with their children where they stay there for two months in what the writer called the village nestled on the windy hill right in opposite the Collegiata.[6] Two short stories contained in the book Short stories for a year are coveted in this country: Bitter water and Pallino and Mimì.
In 1911, while the publication of novellas and short stories continued, Pirandello finished his fourth novel, Suo Marito, republished posthumously (1941), and completely revised in the first four chapters, with the title Giustino Roncella nato Boggiòlo. During his life the author never republished this novel for reasons of discretion; within are implicit references to the writer Grazia Deledda. But the work which absorbed most of his energies at this time was the collection of stories La Vendetta del Cane, Quando s'è capito il giuoco, Il treno ha fischiato, Filo d'aria and Berecche e la guerra. They were all published from 1913 to 1914 and are all now considered classics of Italian literature.
